About the Role:
You will:
Support the Controller in developing and managing all accounting related practices and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
Partner with field leadership, other support departments, and outside providers to ensure compliance with financial procedures, accountability, and control of the Company’s financial resources.Lead the accounting function in projects including continuous improvement initiatives and acquisition activities.
Recruit, hire, lead and develop a cohesive, professional team in accounting, financial reporting, and system initiatives.Manage an accurate and timely closing process (monthly, quarterly and year-end, consolidated and US results) including financial statements and supporting schedules.
Review reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts every month, escalating all continuing or material reconciling items/issues to the Controller on a timely basis.Ensure the timely accumulation of financial information from all Hajoca subsidiaries in order to analyze financial data prior to the creation of the monthly consolidated financial statements and quarterly debt covenants.
Manage relationships with external auditors for the annual audit process of both the financial statements and retirement benefit plans, including the timely preparation of workpapers and draft financial statements and timely responsiveness to auditor requests.Implement internal controls related to accounting processes to ensure integrity of financial results.
Identify continuous improvement initiatives that will improve the overall effectiveness of the finance & accounting operations.Guide, manage and report on the acquisition due diligence process of all functional teams and as appropriate lead integration efforts for accounting processes for completed acquisitions.
Establish timely and accurate analysis of financial reports and financial trends in order to assist the senior leadership in performing their responsibilities. Provide outstanding service to all customers.Proactively resolve issues for Profit Center Managers and field leaders.
Create training materials & resources for support personnel, field profit center managers, and accounting teams. Monitor updates to US GAAP / other relevant accounting guidance and review with the Controller and CFO any changes relevant to Hajoca operations. Document new guidance in memo/policy/procedure format and review with external auditors for approval and sign-off prior to the annual audit process.Provide active leadership in financial systems needs and operations.
Be an advocate within the team and the National Support Center of Hajoca’s decentralized model, culture and values. Successfully complete required safety and compliance training programs as assigned.Perform other reasonably related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor and other management as required.
About You:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
7 or more years of accounting experience in large organizations 3 or more years of management experience CPA Previous experience in a privately held company a plus.Our ideal candidate will also:

Be proficient in accounting software and ERP systems (SAP preferred).
Have advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and other financial reporting tools.Have experience presenting findings and reports to senior management or business leaders.
Possess strong organizational skills. Be able to organize complex projects, manage multiple tasks and meet established deadlines. Exercise the highest levels of integrity.
