Sr Accounting ManagerWork EnvironmentThe role offers a remote work environment with a team of seven, predominantly based in San Francisco. The position operates on a standard Monday to Friday schedule, from 8 AM to 5 PM PST. Candidates must reside in one of the following states: Arkansas, Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nevada, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, or Wisconsin.MUST HAVE Bachelors in Accounting or FinanceProficiency in accounting, general ledger management, and reconciliation.Experience in month-end processes and financial statement preparation.Competence in financial reporting and use of systems such as SAGE - GL System, AR/AP System, and Concur - Expense System.7–9 years of relevant accounting experience.Job Description

The Sr Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department, ensuring compliance with GAAP, and supporting strategic financial planning. This role manages the monthly close process, financial reporting, internal controls, and audit readiness.

ResponsibilitiesManage the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.Oversee general ledger activities, account reconciliations, and journal entries.Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP.Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.Coordinate and support internal and external audits.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $50.00/hr.
