Ready for your next step? We have an exciting job opening available in our Luxembourg team for a Senior Accounting Manager. You will mainly be responsible for the day-to-day accounting support functions for Luxembourg funds and SPVs. You will also be responsible for preparing quarterly, and annual financial statements, regulatory reporting and any other client deliverables.
**Your responsibilities / main tasks will include**
+ Responsible of the day-to-day management of the accounting team
+ Provides informal assistance such as technical guidance, and training to the team.
+ Will coordinate and assign tasks to team members.
+ Responsible for accounting activities including preparation of financial statements and reporting in Lux GAAP.
+ Responsible to supervise regulatory reporting to BCL and CSSF;
+ Participates in internal controls;
+ Analyzes various accounting variances and prepares variance explanation reports.
+ Required to read and interpret contracts, legal documents, and other agreements.
+ May be asked to participate in system conversion or enhancements, requiring user acceptance testing, providing feedback to IT programmers, and training other staff member on the new process/system.
+ Performs other duties as assigned;
+ Reports to Associate Director
**What do are we looking for?**
+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
+ Minimum 7 years professional level accounting experience (preferably PERE, funds)
+ At least 2 years experience in Luxembourg fund industry
+ At least 2 years practical experience in managing team.
+ CPA preferred (“diplôme d’expert comptable”).
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French and English / German is considered a plus
+ Strong commitment to deliver high quality to clients
+ Excellent analytical, problem solving, listening and interpersonal skills
+ Well organized and able to work on multiple projects at the same time
+ High level of maturity, and ability to work independently
