This Senior Accounting Consultant position will join the newly created Integrated Components Division finance team as the Undercarriage Product Development Financial Lead.  This role will lead Undercarriage product development business insights, services growth analysis, OPACC improvement, and provide strategic support. This position partners across the product development group including engineering, value chain engineering, product & digital solutions, and lifecycle management.

What You Will Do:

Lead all financial support for the Undercarriage product development teamEngage with the Undercarriage senior leadership team to provide business insights and analysis to inform business decisions and strategy driving profitable growthProvide business analysis support for aftermarket orders, sales, sales to users, cost, and profitability including regional and commercial offering analysisLead analysis and provide strategic support for aftermarket opportunities, pricing, and product cost reductionsProvide financial support for strategic footprint, new product introduction, and sourcing projectsProvide business support and expertise for Undercarriage’s UTP joint ventureCommunicate effectively with global stakeholders as well as influence and interact with a diverse teamDemonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of Caterpillar’s businesses, products, suppliers and customers

What You Have:

Education/Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related fieldAnalytical Thinking: High level of business acumen and problem solving skillsDecision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgmentEffective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviorsManaging Multiple Priorities: Knowledge of effective self-management practices; ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation.Financial Reporting: Knowledge of processes, methods, and tools of financial reporting and forecasting

Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and executive presence with the ability to collaborate and partner across peers and leadershipKnowledge of Caterpillar’s investment analysis processes

Summary Pay Range:

$144,960.00 - $217,320.00
