Kforce has a client in Tampa, FL that is seeking a Senior Accounting Analyst. Responsibilities & Duties: * Support all financial and operational reporting cycles - including daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual according to the closing schedule(s) and ensure financial reporting (internal and external) deadlines are met * Obtain and maintain thorough knowledge of general ledger systems and processes, financial chart of accounts and corporate procedures * Lead financial closing procedures of international accounting teams in Dominican Republic and Nicaragua * Prepare and post journal entries, as needed * Prepare consolidated financial information for monthly/quarterly/annual consolidated financial reporting with significant intercompany transactions * Drive enhancement/automation and documentation of Finance workflows * Collect data and put into a format that others can easily interpret; Utilize data analytics tools and techniques to analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to support decision-making * Prepare and analyze financial schedules for monthly internal Executive Financial Reporting and assist with preparing department-level and consolidated budget(s)/forecast(s) * Prepare reports, analysis, commentary and other materials for monthly and quarterly financial reviews, Board Meetings and presentations to key external stakeholders * Function as Strategic Finance Partner to the business; Work closely with organizational leaders to develop financial forecasts and annual operating plans * Analyze variances to budget and forecasts; Work with accounting team and P&L owners to explain fluctuations in revenues, expenses and other key metrics * Conduct financial modeling, analysis and support for valuations performed by third-party valuation experts
