System One is assisting one of Tulsa's premier energy companies with a search for a Senior Accounting Analyst. They will work with others who excel in their areas of expertise. Responsibilities: + Initially, develop processes and procedures surrounding the organization's Exploration & Production (E&P) business segment coordinating with a third party provider. Continue longer term in the liaison role with that provider ensuring accurate and timely completion of work. + In the near future the position will also be establishing processes and procedures for new energy ventures and projects of the organization. It will also be involved in ensuring information is captured appropriately to allow for efficient and timely invoicing for work completed and/or services rendered. + Involved with periodic research of technical accounting rules for due diligence and mergers & acquisition activity + Will work with individuals across various divisions of the organization gathering information and providing analysis with recommendations + Consistently look for ways to improve processes using automation + Assist with month-end and year-end close activities as needed Requirements: + Minimum of 6 years of experience in accounting. Strong preference is someone with public accounting senior auditor experience coupled with well-rounded accounting experience in the E&P environment + CPA is preferred, but not required + Strong technical accounting skills and knowledge of GAAP & SOX + Effective communication skills, both written and verbal + Ability to work well with people at all levels and across divisions + Must be self-motivated and able to handle some ambiguity in the role + High aptitude working with computers, data automation and analysis + Positive attitude and a strong work ethic Salary: $90K - $120K Ref: #208-Eng Tulsa System One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé, ALTA IT Services, CM Access, TPGS, and MOUNTAIN, LTD., are leaders in delivering workforce solutions and integrated services across North America.
