Job Title: Senior Accountant

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for the monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting processes related to revenue accounting, including the preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations, as well as fluctuation analyses. 
 

Responsibilities:

Support monthly close and internal reporting process by preparing journal entries and account reconciliations for sales reserves, bad debt and revenue recognitionPrepare monthly and quarterly revenue schedules such as net sales reports to facilitate financial reporting in accordance with US GAAPAnalyze monthly and quarterly fluctuations in accounts associated with areas of responsibilityAssist with completion of internal controls associated with areas of responsibilityDevelop and implement accounting procedures by analyzing current procedures and recommending changesWork with external auditors to provide required schedules and support, for the interim and annual auditProvide support for accounting for new business initiativesAssist with various projects and accounting matters and drive value within the businessPerforms other duties as required

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, MSA / MBA a plusCPA preferred3-5 years of public accounting and / or corporate experience at life science entities preferredEffective communicator across levels of management and functional organizationsDeadline and detail oriented with strong analytical skillsAbility to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environmentTeam player and collaborativeProficiency with MS Windows and MS Office Software, especially ExcelExperience with SAP a plus

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $76,575.00 - $114,862.50. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position in the primary work location in the US. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
