How You Will ContributeReconcile balance sheets and bank accountsAssist in month end close process each month by preparing journal entries and reviewing transactions and statementsAssist with annual audits. Work on deferred revenue and prepaid reconciliations for election reportingFacilitate the accounts payable process between the vendors and end users for election related invoicesReconcile, prepare, and provide feedback on journal entries for compliance and election reportingEnsure accuracy, and timely payment and reportingCollaborate with multiple teams across the Accounting and Finance CapabilityAssist in government filings for state, local, and national racesFacilitate timely and accurate processing of electoral invoicesCollaborate with the political team on best practices from an accounting point of view to connect their needsPerform complex reconciliations and ensure proper accounting treatmentUnderstand and provide coaching on coding for electoral invoicesWhat You Will BringEmployer requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and 3 years of experience in finance and accounting3 years of experience working with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel functions such as vlookup, formulas, pivot tables3 years of experience in Balance Sheet Reconciliations3 years of experience in General Ledger Accounting; and2 years of experience in Bank ReconciliationsTelecommuting permitted up to 3 days per weekWhat We Offer Enjoy a 6% 401(k) match with immediate vesting, flexible time off, comprehensive health and dental plans, plus wellness and mental health support through Peloton and Talkspace.
