This is a stationary, full-time position and requires daily presence in our office in Prague (Praha 6). Senior Accountant will perform various accounting functions and activities in close cooperation with Accounting Supervisor/Chief Accountant and in compliance with accounting standards and procedures. **What You'll do:** + Post journal entries and accruals. + Perform reconciliation of all balance sheet account items. + Review and book travel expense reports and invoices. + Review and reconcile all intercompany transaction. + Assist with annual audit preparations. + Prepare tax returns, VAT reports and withholding tax reports. + Prepare monthly and yearly statistics. + Guide and provide support and expertise to junior members of the team. + Participate in financial standards and policies setting. + Investigate and resolve account discrepancies. + Be focused on accounting and tax compliance. + Perform other accounting duties in cooperation with Accounting Supervisor. **Required qualifications & background:** + Master's degree in accounting or finance required. + 3+ years of accounting experience. + Competency in accounting and tax area. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel. + **Native Czech is a must.** + Good knowledge of English language. + Strong financial analysis skills. + Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. + Ability to work with little or without any guidance. + Demonstrated ability to support all other departments within the company. + Stress management skills and ability to prioritize work.
