Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Accountant to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate is a proactive, detail-oriented, TEAM player with excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills. The Senior Accountant should exercise independent judgment to critically evaluate processes and provide guidance and mentorship to junior accounting staff as needed.
Essential Duties
Prepare balance sheet and income statement reconciliations/analyses as assigned; post journal entriesComplete close activities within prescribed deadlinesCollaborate with business partners to ensure business acumen for assigned areas is developed and considered within the monthly analysesApproach assigned work with intellectual curiosity and exercise professional judgement where escalations are neededPrepare quarterly fluctuation analysis for assigned accountsSupport tax and audit requests in a timely mannerPrepare budget support for assigned accountsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and reportingSupport testing activities related to existing software enhancements and new software implementationsCreate/modify process documentation as appropriateSupport Accounting Manager and Finance leadership with ad-hoc requests

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance field Required5+ years of experience within an Accounting or Finance environment required.Advanced knowledge of accounting concepts, practices, and procedures requiredProficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, etc.)Advanced Analytical and statistical skills requiredThis position is based in our Parsippany, NJ corporate headquarters which currently operates on a hybrid in-office schedule. Though employees are welcome to work in our office on Friday, this position must be performed in-office on Monday through Thursday, with the option to work remotely from the employee's home office on Friday.

Travel Requirements: May require occasional travel in connection to job duties as it relates to conferences, site visits, professional development or learning opportunities, etc. in which advance notice of travel expectations/events will be provided.
Base salary and/or rate of pay ranges listed are exclusive of fringe benefits and potential bonuses. Individual compensation offers will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to geographic location, relevant candidate experience and skill, education, and/or qualifications.
Base Salary Range: $80,000-$110,000
