The world’s leading academic medical center for orthopedics and rheumatology — renowned for unmatched surgical outcomes, elite sports partnerships, and pioneering innovations in musculoskeletal care — is seeking a Senior Accountant to support its Joint Ventures.

This role will oversee key financial operations related to joint ventures such as ambulatory surgery centers and other non-hospital initiatives. Responsibilities include maintaining the general ledger structure, supporting budget development, preparing journal entries, and managing monthly and year-end financial reporting — including financial statement closing. Additional duties involve coordinating billing and wire transfers, assisting with loan advance requests for construction projects, and supporting tax filings and K-1 distribution statements. This position plays a critical role in ensuring accurate financial management and compliance across HSS’s expanding portfolio of ventures.
