Key Responsibilities As a Senior Accountant in our FTEP program, you’ll contribute to key financial operations and projects, including: + Preparing and analyzing financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement, etc.). + Managing the general ledger and ensuring account reconciliations are accurate and timely. + Supporting budgeting and financial forecasting efforts. + Ensuring compliance with GAAP and organizational policies. + Engaging in process improvement initiatives to drive efficiencies and enhance productivity. + Assisting with month-end and year-end closings. + Participating in audits (internal and external) and providing documentation as needed. + Acting as a mentor to junior accounting staff and sharing best practices. You’ll be deployed on exciting projects for top-tier clients, giving you exposure to a wide range of industries, accounting challenges, and forward-thinking organizations. Requirements Preferred Qualifications Education: + Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Experience: + Minimum of 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally including time in a senior-level role. + Familiarity with accounting software systems such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle. Skills and Traits: + Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards (GAAP). + Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. + Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. + Capacity to adapt quickly to new environments and deliver results in dynamic settings.
