NaphCare is hiring a Senior Accountant to join our Corporate Accounting team in Birmingham, AL 35216.

Responsibilities

The Senior Accountant is responsible for maintaining the integrity of general ledger accounts as presented on financial statements and preforming monthly audits of reconciliations. Additional responsibilities may include and not be limited to:

Gather and audit monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts as prepared by othersPrepare reconciliations as neededAnswer accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting dataExamine accounting records, including financial statements and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness and conformance to standards defined within the departmentDevelop, implement, and maintain proper keeping of financial records and making use of current technologiesAnalyze information and options by developing spreadsheet reports and verifying informationProtect the organization's value by keeping information confidential Qualifications

Experience / Requirements / Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accounting required1-3 years of accounting experience requiredStrong Microsoft Excel skills requiredMust have excellent written and verbal skills, have the ability to problem solve, and work and perform independently with minimal supervisionMust possess strong numeracy and analytical skillsAbility to meet deadlinesIntegrity, professionalism and ability to adhere to a Code of Conduct and comply with all company policies, procedures, and legal requirementsMust pass drug screening
