We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented **Senior** **A** **ccountant** to join our finance team in Kolin. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of accounting tasks, including managing accounts payable and receivable, performing month-end closing procedures, and supporting audit processes. This role also involves maintaining accurate financial records and collaborating with colleagues across departments.
**Key responsibilities of the role:**
+ Process and manage accounts payable (AP) invoices, including production materials, services (e.g. subcontracting), and transportation costs.
+ Prepare and post accounts receivable (AR) invoices.
+ Execute and support month-end closing activities; reconcile general ledger accounts.
+ Maintain and update master data records related to accounting.
+ Prepare documentation for internal and external audits.
+ Collaborate effectively with colleagues from various departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.
**Required qualifications and experience:**
+ Degree in Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
+ 2–3 years of experience in a similar accounting position.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, especially Excel and Word.
+ Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, or Microsoft Dynamics.
+ Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
+ A detail-oriented team player with a focus on quality.
+ Self-motivated, proactive, and able to take initiative and responsibility.
+ Good command of English and Czech, both spoken and written.
**Preferred qualifications and experience:**
+ Familiarity with VAT regulations and fixed assets accounting.
+ Willingness to engage in the implementation of new tools and systems.
+ Ability to contribute to the development of internal accounting processes and best practices.
