Job Description
We are currently seeking Remote Senior Accountant consultants for a 6+ month project to support ongoing business operations during a major ERP implementation. These positions are crucial for maintaining day-to-day accounting functions while the core team focuses on system transition efforts. This contract may extend through Q1 2026.
ResponsibilitiesReview and post automatic recurring journal entries and rent voucher entries.Maintain the lease accounting system and reconcile balances to the general ledger.Ensure proper recording and reversal of month-end accrual entries.Prepare and maintain account analysis and adjusting entries in line with internal policies.Reconcile subsidiary ledgers to general ledger control accounts and supporting schedules.Review trial balance departmentalization for compliance with company policies.Maintain stock activity ledgers and prepare documentation for redemptions and purchases.Review and reconcile intercompany transactions and foreign currency exchange entries.Coordinate with external accountants on annual personal property tax returns, including data submission, review, and payment facilitation.Process monthly and month-end reports for financial reporting packages.Post system-generated journal entries such as revenue and revaluation entries.Prepare year-end audit schedules and assist with audit-related tasks.Maintain and reconcile fixed asset records, including physical inventory coordination.Research and apply GAAP/IFRS standards to ensure compliance.Perform other related accounting duties as required.Essential SkillsProficiency in Accounting, IFRS, GAAP, and Excel.Experience with vlookup, pivot tables, intercompany transactions, and foreign currency.Audit preparation for statutory audits and international entities.Familiarity with ERP systems and SQL queries.Strong skills in account reconciliation, journal entry, reporting, and financial statement analysis.Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification preferred.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree from an accredited college with a major in Accounting or Finance.CPA or Master’s degree highly preferred.Multi-year accounting experience in a large company with $250M+ in revenue.Multi-software experience and advanced Excel skills.SQL experience preferred.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Exposure to foreign currency, FX, and intercompany transactions.Previous experience in General Ledger functions such as AR, AP, Fixed Assets, Leasing, Journal Entries, and Treasury.Treasury and cash reconciling experience across multiple banks and currencies.P&L review and analysis, Balance sheet reconciliations, review and analysis.External Audit experience and Statutory Audits for international entities.Willingness to commit to the duration of the system implementation through January 2026, with potential extension through Q1 2026.Work Environment
The role is fully remote, operating Monday to Friday during EST hours. Consultants may be required to travel to Boca Raton HQ as needed. If local, there is an option to work in a hybrid setup, based on personal preference. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $43.26 - $57.00/hr.
