We are looking for a dedicated Senior Accountant to join our team in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work closely with senior leadership, providing crucial financial insights and analysis to drive organizational success. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and skilled in managing multiple priorities effectively.

Responsibilities:
• Manage the monthly close process, including preparing and reviewing journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reports.
• Ensure the accuracy of financial records to support monthly statements and ad hoc reporting, adhering to generally accepted accounting principles.
• Take ownership of balance sheet reconciliations and provide support for key income statement accounts.
• Contribute to the development and execution of annual budget and forecast processes.
• Collaborate with the Controller and Director of Finance to enhance internal controls, reporting workflows, and accounting policies.
• Maintain and update process documentation as procedures evolve to align with organizational growth.
• Serve as the accounting team’s systems expert, utilizing system capabilities to identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax professionals to support annual audit and tax processes.
• Participate in ad hoc financial analyses and strategic initiatives as needed.
Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Proficiency in NetSuite or comparable accounting systems is highly preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Proven capability to handle sensitive information with the utmost discretion.
• Experience in the healthcare or services industry is a plus.
• Ability to meet deadlines and achieve performance goals in a fast-paced environment.
