As the Senior Accountant for the International division, you will coordinate the monthly and quarterly close processes for the international segment and foreign subsidiaries. You will also participate in and lead cross-functional process improvement and special projects. You will have the opportunity to work directly with our country controllers, as well as with domestic businesses and functions. This position has a high level of visibility and exposure to both international and corporate finance leaders. By developing strong working relationships with the local finance teams, you will have the chance to learn about international operations, as well as to implement process improvements and drive change in an interesting, diverse business environment. **In this role, you will:** + Lead the team in monthly and quarterly close processes in SAP, including the preparing and reviewing of journal entries and account reconciliations. + Act as liaison between Corporate Accounting and various countries’ local accounting team in completing the close process. + Perform analytic for Domestic International Profit Centers and prepare required information for external reporting, including Financial Statement Footnotes and International Segment Reporting. + Develop relationships and work closely with business partners in the countries in order to provide accounting and business support, including research and recommendations on accounting issues, as well as implementation of accounting changes. + Lead, initiate and participate in process, control, and financial reporting improvement projects. + Research and document key accounting transactions through technical accounting memorandums. + Support the execution of internal controls over the process including monthly/quarterly account reconciliations and quarterly financial statement certifications. + Provide support to internal and external audit activities including providing deliverables. + Support a company-wide ERP implementation by leading key workstreams, coordinating cross-functional efforts, and navigating complex system and process changes during a period of organizational transition. \#LI-Hybrid **What we look for:** **Key Skills, Abilities and Experience Required** + 4+ years of relevant experience + Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance + Strong understanding of US GAAP and financial statements + Strong project management skills + Ability to work effectively in teams and with cross functional partners + Attention to detail resulting in consistent, reliable and accurate work product + Strong written and oral communication skills + Solid interpersonal skills + Strong planning and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize + Flexible, adaptable, and proactive + Solid analytical skills, with ability to prioritize + Ability to identify and implement process improvements, as well as being proactive about creating opportunities for improvement + Proficient in PC applications (e.g. Excel, Microsoft Office) **Preferred Qualifications:** + Experience with a major ERP system (SAP, Group Reporting) + Big 4 or public accounting experience preferred + CPA certificate/candidate + Experience with Power BI and Power Query **Workplace type:** Hybrid - 3 days in the office, 2 days working from home **We seek out and celebrate diverse backgrounds and experiences.
