Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our Client Finance Team in TNashville, Tennessee. In this role, you will provide high-quality financial services to our clients, ensuring accurate reporting, analysis, and compliance while supporting our commitment to exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities

Manage full-cycle accounting processes for assigned client accounts, including AR/AP, general ledger maintenance, and financial statement preparationPrepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAPPerform complex account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptlyProcess and analyze client financial data to identify trends and opportunities for improvementSupport month-end and year-end closing procedures with high accuracy and efficiencyCoordinate with internal and external auditors during audit processesDevelop and maintain effective working relationships with clients, addressing inquiries and providing financial insightsMentor junior accounting staff and review their work for accuracy and completenessIdentify process improvement opportunities and implement best practices

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in real estate or property managementCPA certification preferredStrong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirementsProficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel (advanced skills preferred)Experience with property management accounting systems is a plusExcellent analytical skills with strong attention to detailEffective communication and interpersonal abilitiesAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
