Join our team now in the Corporate Finance Unit as Senior Accountant (m/f)

Your responsibilities:

Ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with statutory requirement; Prepare annual and semi-annual financial statements in accordance with Romanian GAAP; Compile and submit statistical and regulatory reports related to local financial statements; Provide accounting governance and guidance on local GAAP matters to internal partners, including operational departments, local management, Hub Accounting organization, and shared service teams; Prepare and post journal entries for monthly and year-end closings under local GAAP, ensuring timeliness and accuracy; Lead all aspects of accounting transactions and ensure completeness and correctness of financial data; Maintain effective communication and collaboration with internal and external partners, including business units, Hub accounting, local management, Global Shared Services, and auditors; Support special projects initiated by Siemens or the Hub Accounting organization, such as process improvements, productivity initiatives, carve-ins/carve-outs, and digitalization efforts; Responsibility for IFRS to local GAAP reconciliations.

Your profile:

Degree, certification or equivalent experience in business administration At least 5 years of proven experience in Accounting Member of CECCAR Expert knowledge of Romanian local GAAP Solid knowledge of IFRS Advanced proficiency in accounting practices and processes In-depth expertise with SAP Proficiency in MS Excel & Office Fluency in English Able to work in a changing environment and willing to travel Great teammate with strong interpersonal skills
