Description Robert Half is seeking a detail-driven and highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team. Key Responsibilities + Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports. + Manage general ledger operations by performing and reviewing account reconciliations and journal entries. + Oversee month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines. + Support the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis for management reporting. + Ensure compliance with GAAP accounting principles and other regulatory requirements. + Provide audit support and assist with internal and external audits by preparing required documentation. + Assist in creating and implementing accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to enhance efficiency. + Mentor and guide junior accounting staff to ensure professional development and accurate financial workflows. Requirements + Minimum of 4-6 years of professional accounting experience. Public accounting experience is a plus. + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA certification is highly preferred. + Expertise in accounting software such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, or ERP systems like SAP or Oracle is required. Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and macros are a strong advantage. + Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Proven ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines. + CPA or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
