Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join a dynamic manufacturing team in Plano, Texas. In this role, the Senior Accountant will play a critical part in managing financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, and supporting inventory management processes. Responsibilities: • Prepare and analyze profit and loss statements to support financial decision-making. • Oversee inventory management processes and ensure accurate tracking within a manufacturing environment. • Manage general ledger activities, including month-end journal entries and account reconciliations. • Assist with cost accounting processes, with training provided as needed. • Conduct internal audits, ensuring compliance with organizational and industry standards. • Work collaboratively during month-end close periods, including occasional overtime to meet deadlines. • Utilize accounting software for financial reporting and analysis. • Maintain accurate balance sheet reconciliations and bank reconciliations. • Generate detailed reports using advanced Microsoft Excel functionalities to support financial planning. Requirements • Bachelors in Accounting • 5+ years of experience in accounting within a manufacturing setting. • Strong skills in account reconciliation and balance sheet analysis. • Familiarity with inventory management practices and procedures. • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
