Description We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our growing finance team. This role will be critical in managing various accounting functions, supporting financial planning, and ensuring accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, meticulous attention to detail, and a comprehensive understanding of accounting principles. Key Responsibilities: + Management Company Accounting: Oversee and maintain accurate financial records for the management company, including comprehensive expense tracking and reconciliation of intercompany transactions. + Financial Planning & Analysis (FP& A): Build, refine, and maintain robust financial forecasting models. Track actual financial performance against established budgets, analyze variances, and provide insightful reports to support strategic planning initiatives. + Distribution Support: Assist with complex profit distribution calculations, particularly for General Partner (GP) and Limited Partner (LP) structures. Prepare detailed supporting schedules and documentation for all distributions. + Journal Entries (JEs): Prepare and book a variety of journal entries, including accruals, payroll entries, intercompany movements, and complex allocations, ensuring strict adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) compliance. + Perform general ledger reconciliations and analysis to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data. Requirements Preferred Qualifications: + CPA certification or actively pursuing CPA licensure. + Experience in the financial services or investment management industry. + Experience with advanced financial reporting tools.
