Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to manage and oversee financial processes with precision and efficiency. This role requires a strong background in accounting and expertise in financial reporting, ensuring compliance with established regulations and standards. Responsibilities: • Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. • Manage general ledger activities, including reconciliations and adjustments. • Oversee month-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting. • Record and review journal entries to maintain accurate financial data. • Utilize Yardi software to streamline property accounting operations. • Conduct detailed financial analyses to support strategic decision-making. • Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies and improve processes. • Maintain and update accounting records using advanced Microsoft Excel functions. • Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements in all accounting practices. Requirements • Proven experience in general ledger accounting, with a thorough understanding of related practices. • Strong knowledge of general ledger functions and financial statement preparation. • Expertise in month-end close procedures and managing tight deadlines. • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis. • Ability to prepare and analyze journal entries with attention to detail. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret financial data. • Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
