Quanex is looking for a Senior Accountant to join our team located in St. Cloud, Minnesota.

As a Senior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in the financial operations of our organization. You will oversee general accounting tasks, contribute to the monthly financial close process, collaborate closely with the Division Controller, and take the lead on diverse special projects.

What Success Looks Like:

Prepare and aid finance leaders in review of complex topics such as: debt accounts, raw materials, utilization, inventories, and sales. Perform data analysis and assist Division leadership on financial results. Communicate with finance teams across the organization. Assist finance leaders in gathering supplemental data for quarterly reports. Assist with all compliance issues related to internal controls, audits, SOX compliance, governmental audits, etc.

What You Bring:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field. 4+ years work experience in accounting, including 2+ years of general ledger experience. Experience in manufacturing and using a large ERP system, preferred. Strong understanding of financial statements and internal controls. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Advanced skills in Excel.

The salary range for this position is $75,000 - $85,000 per year plus applicable bonus.
