Senior Accountant – Indonesia (1-Year Contract)

We're looking for a proactive and meticulous Senior Accountant to be a cornerstone of our finance team. You will be responsible for meticulously managing daily financial operations, ensuring stringent adherence to tax regulations, and providing critical financial analyses that directly inform management's strategic choices. This is a fixed-term contract requiring significant analytical prowess and the capacity for autonomous work.

What you’ll do:

Manage daily financial operations and ensure accurate, timely recording of financial and tax transactions.

Participate in quarterly CDH reviews and annual stock takes for inventory verification.

Work with third-party consultants for financial/tax report review, analysis, and management reporting.

Ensure compliance with tax laws to minimize tax exposure.

Verify accuracy and timely submission of annual Corporate Income Tax (CIT) calculations by consultants.

Review monthly VAT and Withholding Tax (WHT) reconciliations and reports from tax consultants for timely and accurate submission.

Forecast income taxes and analyze tax provisions for financial planning.

Monitor and recommend adaptations to changes in tax regulations.

Assist with annual budget and periodic forecast preparation, monitoring variances and providing detailed analyses.

Support preparation and submission of Transfer Pricing documentation.

Ensure monthly preparation and submission of Balance Sheet reconciliations.

Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors during audits and perform other assigned accounting duties.

You’ll have the following skills and experience:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.

Proven experience as an accountant or in a similar role, preferably in a temporary or contract capacity.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, Oracle) and advanced MS Excel skills.

Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Certification such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent is a plus.
