About the Opportunity We’re seeking a Senior Accountant to join the firm’s Family Office Services team. You’ll play a key role in supporting the financial operations of a select group of clients—handling day-to-day accounting, reporting, and cash management activities across a variety of entities. This is a great fit for someone who is process-oriented, enjoys working behind the scenes, and takes pride in delivering high-quality work that helps clients manage and preserve wealth. Key Responsibilities + Maintain general ledgers and record transactions for individual and entity-level accounts (LLCs, partnerships, trusts) + Assist in preparing monthly and quarterly financial reports tailored to client needs + Reconcile bank and brokerage accounts; manage journal entries and intercompany transactions + Process accounts payable, including reviewing and initiating bill payments and reimbursements + Track cash flow, monitor account balances, and flag liquidity needs + Support the preparation of annual budgets and assist with financial planning activities + Partner with internal teams and external advisors (tax, legal, investment) to coordinate documentation and client deliverables + Participate in projects aimed at improving reporting accuracy, process efficiency, and system integration Requirements Qualifications + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field + 4–6 years of accounting experience, preferably in family office, private wealth, or public accounting + Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and bill pay systems (e.g., Bill.com) + Familiarity with investment reporting or general knowledge of capital markets a plus + Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple workflows + Excellent communication skills and discretion when handling confidential information + A proactive, collaborative mindset with a client-service orientation Why Join This Firm? + Work closely with seasoned professionals and high-net-worth clients + Gain exposure to complex financial structures and planning strategies + Collaborative team culture with strong work-life balance + Competitive compensation, bonus potential, and great benefits + Hybrid schedule with a beautiful office in San Francisco Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
