Position Summary

TelevisaUnivision is seeking a senior accountant to support the Finance, Record to Report team for Digital. This candidate will be involved in all aspects of the monthly accounting close process related to our streaming digital business.  

Job Responsibilities

Assist in the monthly closing process by preparing and uploading journal entriesPrepare and maintain monthly recurring entriesPrepare various general ledger account analyses by reviewing transactions within the general ledger to ensure accurate activity within the accountAbility to interpret and understand contracts.Responsible for the accounting for specialized contractual obligations.Assist in preparation of the Quarterly Flux analysis bookAssist in gathering support for the internal/external audit requestsSupport ad hoc projects/system implementation

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in accounting3+ yrs. accounting experienceStrong PC Skills with moderate knowledge of ExcelAbility to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasksProblem solving and priority settingStrong verbal and analytical skills required with the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization effectivelyStrong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with team

Desired Skills & Experience

Certified Public Accountant is a plusBilingual - Ability to speak and write in Spanish

Located in Teaneck, NJEmployment/education will be verifiedMust have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand, walk, bend, type, and sit for up to (8) hours
