Senior Sales Account Manager

The role will be based in Paris and will be reporting directly to the Senior Commercial Director of a key Global Account. You will be part of a dynamic and global team with the challenge to strengthen our commercial activities in Beauty and Lifestyle.

 

Your key responsibilities:

Develop successful working relationship with one of our leading Global Account. Build and maintain relationship with key customer contacts i.e. Brand, Marketing, Fragrance Development Leads, R&D Innovation, Procurement, Supply Chain and Material Planner teamsManage the fragrance business for Prestige; drive the assigned categories to achieve agreed business growth targets i.e. sales budget, target margins and sales forecast accuracyDevelop the commercial and creative strategy and lead the implementation of a business plan aligned with the global commercial objectives and account needs; contribute to the overall Account business growth plans in line with global strategies and objectivesUnderstand customer’s business operations, product lines, brand strategies and consumer targets to provide a value-added advantage in managing the account plansManagement of projects.  Lead on safety reworks assigned categoriesAnticipate clients’ needs and lead proactive projects to generate new business opportunitiesGet clear and complete briefing from clients, translate their needs into Firmenich projects; brief creation and development teamsWork closely with the Account Director and Strategic Segment Units to identify and translate new opportunities into actionable plans

You bring:

Bachelors or Masters degree or equivalent (business administration, economics, marketing, science...) + Leadership & Management TrainingMinimum of 3-5 years of fragrance/ingredient sales experience, sales/marketing experience in FMCGPlanning & organizingDecision making, business acumen, Advanced Sales and Negotiation skillsFluent English
