You will be responsible to:
+ Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with senior decision-makers and key influencers within a designated portfolio of customer accounts, which may include major strategic clients in specific geographic or industry sectors
+ Optimize the customer relationship with established clients through both strategic and tactical means including (but not limited to) Key Account Plans, Account Growth Plans, Periodic Business Reviews, client visits and Satisfaction Survey Action Plans
+ Identify and develop new sales opportunities and are typically responsible for successfully closing them. By increasing the visibility and perceived value of the company’s products and services, you will generate demand and strengthen our market presence.
+ Develop and accumulate strong and extensiveHovione product and service expertise, sharing knowledge ofofferingsandcross-sellingas appropriate
+ Achieve thesales targetsand ensureproject deliveryfor the portfolio ofcustomer accountsunder responsibility and growing account spend and uncovering upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
+ Manage theclient interfaceof assigned accounts and provide outstandingcommercial servicethrough fast, trustworthy and knowledgeable responses tocustomer demands, and/or coordinating others in responding to customers
+ Monitorcustomer accountandmarket activityand provide concise and insightfulanalysisoncustomer dynamics,market developmentsandcompetitor activity
+ Lead relationships with colleagues in different countries and job functions to ensurecustomer needsare met
+ Assist in thenegotiationof complexlong-term contractsincluding (but not limited to)sales contracts,quality agreementsanddevelopment agreements
+ Analyze data, includingdemand forecasting, within Hovione´sCustomer Relationship Management system (CRM)for Europe to ensure accurateforecastingandreporting
+ Attend and represent Hovione at keyTrade Shows
We are looking to recruit a Candidate:
+ Typically requires 10 years of relevantexperience in account management / business developmentor related commercial area in the pharmaceutical sector
+ Master´s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field
+ Technical background preferred
+ Track record of overachievingtargets
+ Experience inbudget planningandforecasting
+ Possess extensive knowledge ofaccount management, marketing,salesand business development principles and practices and is able to effectively share them with others
+ Possess extensive knowledge ofpharmaceutical supply chain and market; pharmaceuticalproduct developmentandcGMPandregulatoryrequirements
+ Goodcommunicationskills (verbal and written)
+ Skilled at managingcomplex processesand tools
+ Effectivetime managementskills and the ability to multitask
+ Proven experience inleadingothers in project context
+ Fluency inEnglishis a requirement
+ Must have the Knowledge, Experience and Skills to conduct their tasks in accordance with the rules and procedures set down
