We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Account Executive to join FNA our Employee Benefits Wholesale Division. This individual will serve as the primary relationship manager for Professional Employer Organization (PEO) accounts, acting as a trusted advisor to retail brokers, internal sales teams, and PEO partners. The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of the PEO model, employee benefits strategies, and the complexities of the wholesale benefits distribution channel.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the lead point of contact for assigned PEO clients and retail brokers, ensuring consistent, high-quality service delivery.Oversee the onboarding and renewal process for PEO-sponsored benefit programs, including quoting, carrier negotiations, and implementation support.Act as a benefits expert in all aspects of PEO benefit offerings, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and voluntary plans.Manage and support complex client structures involving multiple locations, industries, and benefit plans.Collaborate with internal underwriting, compliance, and sales teams to design competitive benefit solutions tailored to each client’s needs.Develop and maintain strong relationships with carrier partners to ensure favorable terms and service for PEO programs.Deliver proactive communication, stewardship reports, and strategic planning to clients and retail brokers.Stay current on industry trends, compliance regulations, and PEO-specific market developments.Support training and mentorship of junior account management staff as needed.Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in employee benefits, with at least 3 years in a PEO-focused role or working directly with PEOs.Strong knowledge of PEO operating models, benefits administration, and regulatory environments.Experience working in a wholesale brokerage or employee benefits MGA is highly preferred.Proficient in benefits quoting tools, CRM platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite.Exceptional communication, organizational, and client-facing skills.Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results under tight deadlines.Life & Health Insurance License requiredThe expected pay range for this position is $75,000 to $85,000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience, and work location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope, and level.
