Overview Turner Duckworth is looking for a Senior Account Director to join our San Francisco studio. As a Senior Account Director, you are an exceptional collaborator and creative advocate, critical thinker and negotiator, with the adaptability to navigate fast-paced environments. The Senior Account Director leads design projects, managing internal teams and serving as the senior client contact. Senior Account Directors foster creative partnership, ensure team alignment, and maintain structure across all phases of the work. Responsibilities What You Bring: An appreciation for brilliant ideas, a passion for design and impacting consumer brands An open mind, curious spirit and proactive attitude Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust with clients and internal teams Critical thinker with a proactive, problem-solving mindset Highly organized, adaptable, and calm under pressure Excellent presentation and storytelling skills Financial and operational acumen, including experience with contracts, SOWs, and forecasting Ability to mentor and guide account teams and collaborate across disciplines What You’ll Do: Lead major design projects, managing internal teams and serving as the senior client contact (Brand Director and above) Help shape the creative direction of accounts based on client brief and strategy Co-author rationales and briefs with Head of Creative/ECD/Creative Directors Present concept and development work to clients, showcasing and advocating for creative thinking Finalize and polish design presentations and upfronts Serve as the day-to-day contact for key clients, understanding both client needs and internal workflows Build relationships with leadership at partner agencies and client organizations Identify new business opportunities and proactively engage clients Negotiate SOWs and resolve billing issues Develop and approve SOWs, ensuring alignment with business goals Update/oversee project forecasts and manage scheduling challenges Attend key research sessions and milestone meetings Guide Account Managers and Senior Account Managers in interpreting and responding to feedback Review project plans / draft more complex ones Approve project documentation for awards and case studies and secure client approvals Support internal teams during challenges and lead team appreciation efforts Qualifications Details & Qualifications: Full-Time Position 10+ Years of experience in creative agency account management (design agency preferred) Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, preferred Based in or willing to relocate to Bay Area, CA Hybrid work schedule, 3 days/week in-studio (Monday, Tuesday and Thursday) Reports to Managing Director Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with experience with GoogleWorkspace a plus Additional information Our Publicis Groupe motto “Viva La Différence” means we’re better together, and we believe that our differences make us stronger. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met.
