What are we looking for?

For our specialized team, we are looking a Senior ABAP Developer working close to one of our main clients leader in the industry sector.

Location: Kaufering. It’s required to work at the office 3 days per week.

 

Requirements for the role:

ABAP OO is a must, with years of meaningful experience. No old-style programming allowed. Last technologies and best practices must be the norm for the right profile. Excellent in Screen and Dialog programming for SAPGui. Extended experience in ABAP for S/4 & HANA. Extended experience with Gateway and ODATA.  Extended experience developing HANA CDS and using them in the programs. Knowledge in SD module, at least to understand easily the Business Processes and the main functional requirements. Able to MVC programming knowledge. Integration technologies for SAP knowledge. BTP knowledge (ABAP runtime, HCI, HANA persistence in cloud) good to have. Fiori, good to have but not mandatory. Proactivity, good team player, with experience working on international teams in different timezones. People that want to contribute to the project, 80% innovation & 20% support. Apart from strong in every area of core abap, abapers need to have odata/fiori/cds/abap proxy view and interface knowledge will have advantage. The client has online product portal on their cloud which connected to S/4 Hana via sap gateway and using odata for sending and receiving data. Also they use SAP PI/PO for sending mass data from cloud application to S/4 Hana. ABAP dialong/screen programming are also heavily use in the client. High level knowledge in SD module processes would be good.

Tasks and responsibilities

Technical person will work in Agile environment and communicate a lot with colleagues in europe via miscrosoft team. The client expects the abaper not only doing abap programming but also to understand their business process so that abaper can write the technical specification based on their high level discussion and they want to person to stay longer with them. Additional notes SAP ABAP consultant with good experience in Analysis, Design, Development, Testing and Implementation of SCM solutions spread across ECC modules. Familiarity with system aspects as it relates to OData Services, UI5 and Fiori development; ABAP/4, Object oriented Programming, SLT integration, Java, Cloud Foundry and SAP Cloud Platform. Knowledge of Web Services, CDS Views, Data Services and other integration techniques with SAP and Non-SAP systems. Needs to have strong ABAP development skills required and being articulate, punctual, organized and methodical. Ability to drive blueprint design sessions, develop, test and deploy digital solutions that address complex functional requirements. Also required to work with an offshore development team and develop technical specifications. Needs to be able to lead client meetings in the form of projects. Must be strong in every area of core ABAP and need to have Odata / Fiori / CDS / ABAP proxy view, interface knowledge will have added advantage. Integration experience in online product portal on cloud with S/4HANA via sap gateway and using Odata for sending and receiving data. Experience in SAP PI/PO for sending mass data from cloud application to S/4 Hana. Experience in ABAP dialog / screen programming. High level knowledge in functional modules like SD module processes would be an added advantage. Willing to work in an Agile environment and communicate with other Technical team members via Microsoft Teams. This role involves not only just doing ABAP programming / development but also to understand the client business process. The ABAP developer must be able to write technical specifications based on their high level discussion with business team members
