Description:
An excellent school in Royston, Hertfordshire is currently seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to start within their new academic year (September 2025). The role is full-time and will transition from a temp-perm contract. This is in line with how the school like to recruit their full-time staff, to ensure the right candidates are coming through the school doors.

Duties include:

Supporting pupils with SEN on a 1:1 and small group basis

Helping to plan and deliver learning activities

Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional development

Providing personal care when needed for students with physical disabilities

Working closely with class teachers and SENCO

Essential Requirements:

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service

Relevant experience supporting SEN students (desirable)

Reliable, enthusiastic, and nurturing personality

Team player with a flexible approach
