Semiconductor Test Engineer
**Summary:** The Bits to Experience PTE Team team at Meta focuses on inventing new metrology and characterization methods for AR displays to move the state-of-art display and optical technologies forward for AR products, which gives people the power to build community and bring the world closer together. Our team is looking for an experienced and driven Semiconductor Test Engineer who will work with cross-functional teams to define the requirements, lead the development, qualification and implementation of optical metrology equipment for characterizing display and subsystems in AR products. **Required Skills:** Semiconductor Test Engineer Responsibilities: 1. Design, develop, and execute test programs for semiconductor devices using various test equipment and software tools 2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure successful product development and launch 3. Collect and perform statistical analysis on metrology data to correlate to performance metrics 4. Develop and maintain test documentation, including test plans, procedures, and reports 5. Lead full cycle of tester development against engineering requirement specifications. Take complete ownership of transferring metrology technologies from R&D to mass production 6. Establish and perform tester alignment and calibration procedures and ensure testers are performing as intended and providing accurate data 7. Work with engineering design team(s) to clarify/refine performance metric definition for test solution implementation 8. Troubleshoot and debug test issues, working closely with other engineers and technicians as needed 9. Participate in developing of new test methodologies and techniques to improve efficiency and effectiveness 10. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in semiconductor testing 11. Up to 50% domestic and international travel required **Minimum Qualifications:** Minimum Qualifications: 12. BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics or a related technical discipline with 2+ years of experience or Advanced Degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related technical discipline 13. Hands-on experience in ATE test program development from concept to implementation 14. Demonstrable understanding of digital logic, microprocessors, and semiconductor devices 15. Familiarity with semiconductor test equipment, including ATE systems, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, etc 16. Proficiency in statistical data analysis using Minitab or JMP 17. Professional level proficiency in English 18. Exemplary communication and presentation skills 19. Problem-solving skills and attention to detail 20. Skills in programming in python or equivalent language **Preferred Qualifications:** Preferred Qualifications: 21. Previous experience in the AR/VR field 22. Familiarity with display silicon testing 23. Familiarity with optics or optical engineering 24. In-depth knowledge of Design of Experiments (DOE) methodology, Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) and Measurement System Analysis 25. Experience in image processing and algorithm development 26. Experience in Zemax, Code V, LightTools, FRED or other optical design/simulation tools 27. Expertise in ATE Equipment programming (e.g. Teradyne UltraFLEX, Advantest 93k) **Industry:** Internet
