Seller Growth Manager - MakerPlace
Support Center - Irving

The Seller Growth Manager - MakerPlace is responsible for growth of the MakerPlace seller base across new seller acquisition, existing seller engagement/success, and seller content. The role creates a series of programmatic business development and sales go-to-market processes and metrics to ensure MakerPlace adds new sellers, helps existing sellers increase GMV, and educates sellers on the MakerPlace platform. Responsibilities include developing and deploying programmatic email campaigns, maximizing scaled seller adoption for MakerPlace’s premium plan, increasing Michaels componentry purchases from MakerPlace sellers, and leading the planning and creation of feature-release based seller communications, content, and FAQs.

Seller Acquisition

Develop a playbook to programmatically acquire new sellers and help them be successful on the platformIdentify, drive, and refine effective value propositions across email campaigns and other communication channels to bring thousands of new sellers to the platformLeverage Salesforce to track and analyze seller acquisition

Seller Engagement

Strategize and develop the process to maximize scaled seller plan adoption for MakerPlace’s premium planOwn and lead incremental Michaels componentry purchases from MakerPlace sellers across seller plan, B2B, and print/frame on demandCreate a seller feedback loop to help improve the MakerPlace platformLeverage Salesforce to track and analyze seller engagement

Seller Content

Lead the planning and creation of feature-release based seller communications, content, and FAQsSchedule updates, workflows, processes, refreshes, and features to tell a cohesive story to sellersPartner across stakeholder teams to deliver impactful contentEnsure the content is engaging and aligned with the brand voice, tone, and seller target audienceEnsure accuracy and consistency across the Seller Support Center, optimized for SEO

Other duties as assigned, including leading ad hoc projects as requested by leadership

Preferred Education/Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, business, math, finance, economics or related field requiredMBA preferred or commensurate work experience

Minimum Type of Experience Required

4-7+ years of experience in technology and/or ecommerce marketing, business development, or sales2-3+ years of Marketplace ecommerce experienceProficient with ecommerce, ecommerce marketplaces, and ecommerce services and softwareExpertise in defining and driving business development, and product/program management frameworks & methodologiesExperience in pulling data and ability to use data to drive decision-makingThorough understanding of desktop, mweb, and app technologies, including SalesforceExperience using reporting tools (SQL, Looker, etc)Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint or equivalent Google Suite applicationsAbility to think creatively, strategically and technicallyStrong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills

Other

Must be competent in Microsoft suite, including executive level presentationsExperience in using web analytics tools
