As Segment Marketing Director, Factory Automation, you will set the strategic vision and lead the execution of go-to-market strategies across Factory Automation target segments. You will be accountable for driving revenue growth and market leadership by integrating market intelligence, customer insights, and business objectives into actionable growth plans that position our portfolio for success.
You will oversee and guide a team of segment marketing professionals, ensuring alignment with sales, product management, and marketing communications to deliver impactful product launches and sustained adoption. By championing segment-specific strategies, you will tailor positioning, pricing, and messaging to diverse market needs, while fostering cross-functional collaboration to accelerate growth and build strong market presence.
As a senior leader, you will cultivate a high-performing team culture, drive innovation, and serve as the primary advocate for segment marketing excellence across the organization.
This role can be based in any DAUT site globally that has a strong Factory Automation focus.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Develop and lead the overarching segment marketing strategy for the SBU Factory Automation portfolio, ensuring alignment with business objectives and driving market growth across all target segments Oversee the creation and execution of integrated go-to-market plans, coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches, accelerated adoption, and sustained revenue generation Synthesize market intelligence, customer insights, and competitive analysis to inform strategic direction, define new target industries or applications, identify new opportunities, and refine value propositions for each segment Guide the positioning, messaging, and pricing strategies at the segment level, ensuring differentiation and optimal market fit across diverse regions and customer groups Direct the development of lead generation, sales enablement, and training programs in partnership with sales, marketing communications, and revenue operations teams to maximize pipeline and sales effectiveness Foster strong collaboration with Product Management, share customer needs to be considered in new product development, and ensure future products and solutions are tailored to market requirements Act as a crucial connector among cross-SBU Product Management, Sales, and Marketing Communications teams; key element of success in driving growth in Factory Automation target industries Monitor and evaluate the performance of segment marketing initiatives Build, lead, mentor, and develop the segment marketing team, setting clear objectives, providing strategic guidance, and cultivating a high-performance culture Who You Are:You excel at translating market insights and business objectives into actionable growth strategies that deliver measurable results, demonstrating a strategic mindset and strong business acumen.
