As Axis’ recognized expert in the Banking and Financial Institutions markets, you will lead the development and execution of strategies that generate awareness and demand for Axis products and solutions for this segment, leveraging relationships and networking with customers, and engaging the Axis organization such that the result is growth relative to Axis’ business goals.
Responsibilities: The successful candidate will excel in four key areas:
Subject Matter Expertise and Thought Leadership:
Work in close partnership with the Banking and Finance Industry Segment Marketing Manager to build annual sales and marketing plans, identify the most effective customer focused initiatives to reach and influence the market. Execute and report on plans.Position yourself internally and externally as the “go-to” subject matter expert supporting Axis and our customers across the Americas and as part of a global community.Prepare and conduct public speaking and press opportunities / engagements, webinars, podcasts, etc. Act as a company spokesperson.Participate and speak at Banking and Finance events and industry association meetings.Evaluate all sub-segments within the Banking and Finance industry and focus investments on the highest ROI opportunities.Voice of Customer:
Be able to tell the Axis story to the customer in the language of their industry and, conversely, tell the story of the customer to Axis’ internal stakeholders in our language.Work closely with relevant Industry Association (IA) groups.Participate and seek out leadership opportunities in IA committees to network, drive technology standards and guidance through IA participation, based upon Axis’ core competencies.Provide Government regulation guidance for the Banking and Finance sectors.Provide Banking and Finance specific publication guidance.Solution Identification & Development:
Leverage your banking industry expertise to provide Product and Solution Management teams with guidance on solution needs of the market to assist in the development of products and features to solve customer problems and create competitive advantages for Axis in the segment.Develop solution-based concepts and strategies to meet segment end user needs based upon our core technologies and partner technologies, existing and undeveloped.Identify relevant Technology Integration Partner (TIP) opportunities and work with relevant Axis teams to develop strategies for building and supporting relationships with them.Look beyond physical security solutions to identify business intelligence and operational solutions for the segment.Drive Axis end-to-end strategy in Banking and Finance segment.Field Engagement & Knowledge Transfer:
Work closely with Sales to assist in sales cycles, increase Sales’ knowledge of the banking and financial industry, and develop strategic customer relationships.Work closely with Axis Field Service Engineers, Professional Services and the Solutions and Services teams in Banking and Finance Segment.Identify and develop relationships with key contacts within relevant partners including National and Global Systems Integrators.Essential Skills
Personal brand building and operating in a matrixed organization.Strong technical skills and expertise in IP video and enterprise security solutions preferred with experience with / on association boards for standards in physical security.Proven experience in developing business and channel partnerships for security solutions, with a strong focus on the Banking and Finance sector.Knowledge of Marketing channels in Banking and Finance segments.C- level Sales consultingFluent in public speaking and presentationStrong computer skills to include Microsoft Office suite and SalesforceBe a self-motivated team playerEducation and Experience
5+ years’ sales, Business Development experience in Banking/Financial institutions, Industry Consultant, 5+ years’ experienceEstablished network within security industry and Banking and Financial segmentA Bachelor or higher degree is preferredPublic Speaking and Press / Public Relations experience.Physical demands

Pay Range
The approximate pay range for this location and position is $165,000-$190,000 OTE. *Pay is based on Location* Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on factors, including but not limited to, the individual's qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as physical work location within the state.
