Aloha! A TEKsystems Customer is looking for a technician to join our ESS service team which prides themselves on their quality of work and excellent customer service. Experience working in the industry is needed to make sure you have the skills to service our customers in a timely fashion. Ability to get a security clearance is a must and already having one is a plus. The right person for our team is someone who will be committed to our core values. What We Expect (responsibilities include but not limited to and depending on technician level) Understanding of drawings and other service documents. General Understanding of simple electrical circuits Skills in configuring and programming security systems and related technologies. Diagnose, troubleshooting, and repair of various Access Control, Intrusion Detection, Closed Circuit Television, and Intercom Systems. General Microsoft Office Skills Communicate with team and customers to service completion. Complete daily timesheets/reports. Complete security training throughout the year. Upkeep of company vehicle (if given one), keep clean and documents up to date. Commitment to Safety Work Requirements Ability to use hand tools (screwdrivers, crimpers, voltmeter, toners, etc.). Display Proficiency with voltmeter Ability to use various types of Power tools (Drills, Impact drivers, multitools, etc.). Ability to operate computer/phone. Able to use ladders and willingness to learn to operate lifts. Lift 50 pounds (equipment, toolbox). Valid drivers license (must be able to get to and from job sites). Must be able to pass background checks (for security clearance and various badges). Must be able to travel interisland/mainland/internationally. Must be able to work overtime as needed to complete service tickets. Skills Cctv, Access control, Alarm systems, Alarm installation, Alarms, Troubleshooting Additional Skills & Qualifications Must have minimum of secret security clearance Must be able to travel (Passport required) Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $37.80 - $37.80/hr.
