Allied Universal Event Services is hiring Supervisors to work a year round horror experience venue opening in August.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ensure that contract-required training and screening elements for personnel have been metMaintain overtime to a minimal or preset requirement designated by AUESEnsure quality of service and contract compliance by regularly inspecting event staff personnel and their job performance when assigned to his/her shift and/or assigned eventMake recommendations for positive and negative personnel actions for those under his/her direct supervisionRespond to client requestsMake emergency notifications as necessary pursuant to site Event/Post OrdersProvide direction and instruction to subordinates in regard to the performance of their dutiesMakes productivity and cost reduction recommendations to managementMakes recommendations for physical security surveys and post ordersAssists in all aspects of event day preparation and executionAllows appropriate entry into each venue, may collect and/or scan tickets, verify wristbands and badges, direct traffic coming in and out of the venueDemonstrate an understanding of the policies, procedures and regulations of different venues, facilities, and eventsInitiate a genuine, friendly, and personal greeting to our guests as they arrive at the facility entrance, aisle, concourse area or other location and offer a sincere “thank you” to complete each guest encounterProvide guests with helpful directions and/or suggestions that will enhance their entertainment experience; ensure interactions with guests include a smile and use of a natural speaking voice, including natural inflection and a friendly toneMeet all contractual scheduled hours for event/site assigned to the Account Manager/Branch ManagerPerform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned or required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High School diploma or equivalentPrior customer service or security work experience in a leadership roleWork history must include:Excellent organizational skills that include the ability to multi-task and prioritize workStrong consultative, analytical, and problem-solving skillsAbility to communicate effectively with leadershipOutstanding oral and written communication skillsAble to concentrate on details, work under deadline pressures, apply sound logic and judgment, and prioritize tasks and responsibilities.Able to focus and multi-task in a busy environment, with the ability to successfully handle stressful situations in a calm and professional manner. Includes being able to effectively manage multiple interactions with diverse personalities and engage them to perform at optimum levelsMust be highly proficient and fully functional in all Microsoft Office applications and able to effectively utilize all available office management technology

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Associate’s degree or higher in Education, Business, Criminal Justice, Human Resources, Security Management, or a closely related field
