Security Supervisor
**Summary** We are seeking a **Security Supervisor** with experience in Residential Protective Services. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Residential Protective Service Operations (PSD) and will be responsible for overseeing operations across the DMV region. This role plays a key part in training and managing security personnel, ensuring project requirements are met, and contributing to the efficiency and effectiveness of all security operations. **_This position is contingent upon contract award_** **Responsibilities** + Will lead and be responsible for all assigned shift personnel; oversee all training, planning, scheduling and execution, in support of all on site security operations. + Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure schedule deconflictions and shift requirements / milestones are met. + Develop and maintain shift documentation, including schedules, timelines and shift reports. + Identify and mitigate identified security risks, ensuring timely resolution of issues. + Foster strong relationships with on-site U.S. Marshal Service stakeholders and ensure clear communication throughout the team and cross communication with other locations. + Oversee / Supervise the Residential Security Officer shift to ensure all training and operations are executed in accordance with all established protocols. + Drive continuous improvement and innovation in the overall project and security operations processes. + Other duties as assigned **Qualifications** + Must be a Citizen of the U.S. + A High School diploma is required. An Associate’s Degree with a focus in Security Management, Project Management, or a related field is preferred. + Possessing a valid registration with a firearms endorsement is preferred. + A minimum of three (3) years of prior military service experience, or least one (1) year of sworn law enforcement or armed contract security experience specifically in the management of security or guard force operations is preferred. + A minimum of three (3) years proven experience in overseeing and managing security programs, project management, ideally within government or publishing sectors. + Possess Strong leadership and team management skills. + Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. + Successfully pass all physical fitness requirements. + Possess a valid, unrestricted (except eyeglasses wear) state driver’s license. + Successfully pass all background investigation requirements. _Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:_ + Knowledge in security, project management, business rules, and residential security operations. + Knowledge of wire and hand-held radio communication protocols. + Ability to assess information, interpret and apply rules, and communicate clearly. + Ability to learn and adapt to new situations. + Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English. + Possess the ability to be courteous, diplomatic, and maintains composure when assertiveness is needed.
