About The Role:
The Security Specialist will be a key member of CrowdStrike's Global Security team, supporting our "Security First" mission and ensuring the safety of CrowdStrikers. Based in the UK, this position serves as the primary security representative for our UK operations, managing physical security, access control, and incident response while providing crucial support for executive protection and regional security initiatives.

What You’ll Do:

Physical Security Operations

Oversee facility security and access control programs across CrowdStrike's locations

Manage and maintain physical security systems, including Access Control Systems, Visual Surveillance Systems, and Intruder Detection Systems

Conduct regular security audits and assessments to identify risks and improvement opportunities

Ensure prompt resolution of security system issues and implement appropriate compensatory measures

Support event security program which will require travel

Personnel Security Management

Administer access control protocols, including processing requests and maintaining accurate databases

Coordinate employee security briefings and training programs

Manage new employee/contractor facility access provisioning and deprovisioning

Foster a security-conscious culture throughout the organization

Crisis Management & Intelligence

Serve as primary point of contact for regional security incidents and crisis events

Coordinate employee accountability and safety protocols during emergencies

Develop and maintain relationships with internal partners, local security communities and law enforcement

Provide regional intelligence assessments and support travel security decisions

Program Development & Administration

Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards

Generate comprehensive security reports and documentation

Support executive protection planning and operations in the region

Collaborate with global team members on security initiatives and best practices

What You’ll Need:

Minimum 5 years' experience in global security operations and facility security management

Demonstrated expertise with Physical Protection Systems and security technologies

Strong technical aptitude and systems knowledge

Ability to respond to emergencies

Flexibility to work extended hours during crisis events

Willingness to travel as needed

Military or law enforcement background

Professional security certifications (CSMP, CPP, PSP)

Bachelor’s degree in security management or related field

Experience in security system design and implementation

Current First Aid and CPR certification

Demonstrated leadership and relationship-building abilities
