Responsibilities You will serve as security specialist within NAWCAD A131 working the information security; personnel security; industrial security; and security, education and training disciplines. May be responsible for one or a combination of these programs. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or DA-04 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) maintaining, analyzing and providing recommendations in relation to personnel security matters/cases; 2) maintaining the internal security program including responsibility for safeguarding classified documents, 3) conducting inspections and continuing checks to assure compliance with requirements within information security; 4) inspecting on-site contractor/facility locations to ensure compliance with contract requirements and good security practices; 5) preparing and providing training on a variety of security-related topics. Education Additional Information This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. Several vacancies may be filled.
