Summary This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Responsibilities You will support the Access Control Supervisor in operating the SWFLANT Access Control Program and assist in matters pertaining to eligibility for access to SWFLANT. You will validate access eligibility and approving visit requests and permanent badge applications for personnel requiring access to the SWFLANT AOR. You will ensure the proper operation of the SWFLANT Entry Authorization List (EAL). You will process SWFLANT camera pass and decal applications. You will process SWFLANT vehicle permits and decal applications. You will ensure personnel with LA escort privileges maintain their annual training requirements. You will manage swipe access using various systems. You will function as a CAC Trusted Agent. You will maintain a good working relationship with SUBASE, tenant command Security Managers, and personnel from various outside entities in order to process personnel. You will provide guidance and advisory services to local command security representatives on a wide variety of access control requirements and topics. You will complete audits and self-assessments. You will support the Access Control Supervisor with the Foreign National Visitor program. You will supprot the Access Control Supervisor in the proper execution of the Trustworthiness Determination Program. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector: knowledge of personnel, information, industrial and physical security programs and their methods; knowledge of access control and visitor control programs; ability to self-assess programs; skilled and knowledgeable in information technology to include Microsoft applications. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. Education In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: Successful completion of a 4-year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree. OR A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to three years of experience. A transcript must be submitted with your application if qualifying using education.
