Netskope is looking for an analyst in the Security Operations Center team to support the FedRAMP/PBMM environment. As such, this role requires US Citizenship for the successful applicant This position will focus on using various security tools (EDR, SIEM, IDPS, SOAR, etc) to monitor and analyze the corporate systems and network for suspicious activities and prevent them.
Responsibilities: Develops and executes security controls, defenses and countermeasures to intercept and prevent internal or external attacks or attempts to infiltrate company infrastructure. Provides expertise to drive complex analysis to understand emerging threats, and continuously demonstrates awareness of current threat posture Reviews our current setup of security implementations/processes and recommends changes if necessary. Develop, improve and execute on core team functions such as monitoring, communication, automation and fine tuning policies. Automate security tasks using scripting languages such as python and SOAR. Partners with the internal teams to lead, develop, test, and continuously validate detection signatures for various attacks. Have firm understanding of security tools like and not limited to SIEM, EDR, IPS, Email Gateway, TIP, SOAR, SSE modules. Have an understanding of the incident response activities. Participate in the optimization and creation of playbooks Support junior members of the SOC team through mentoring and providing feedback to enhance skills and knowledge. Have a good understanding of cloud environments such as AWS/Azure/GCP. Requirements: Must be a US Citizen Must be located in or willing to relocate to the St Louis area (the office is in Clayton, MO) Operates in a 24x7 SOC environment (shift work or on-call rotations may be required) Experience 1+ Yrs in Security Should possess relevant university degree and/or professional qualifications/certification (e.g. CEH, GCIH, CISSP) Must have proven experience with tools like SIEM, EDR, TIP, Email Gateway, SOAR and others. Must have the ability to understand and mitigate security alerts. Understanding of SSE components like CASB, Next Gen SWG, NPA, RBI, DLP etc. Must be good at communicating within teams and across the organization. Experience in Automating Security tasks using Python or SOAR Experienced in best practice security configuration Experienced in purple team engagements Have an understanding of threat intelligence and threat hunting. Good exposure to Cloud Applications like AWS, Azure and other SAAS Applications Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work with cross-functional teams Self-motivated, curious, knowledgeable pertaining to news and current events. Ability to be effective in a remote global work environment Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred#LI-JR1
