Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Malware Researcher to join our Cybersecurity team. In this role, you will analyze and reverse engineer malware threats to protect our customers from evolving cyber threats. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with a strong technical background and a passion for uncovering and mitigating security vulnerabilities.

About the Role:

Malware Analysis - Analyze and reverse engineer malicious objects using static and dynamic analysis techniques.Engage in projects geared towards improving detection technologyEnhance Trellix’s security content infrastructure and release process

About You:

At least 5-10 years experience in malware analysis and reverse engineeringExperience in exploits/vulnerability researchExperience in sandbox-based detection technologiesExperience in network traffic analysisKnowledge in malware detection for static, network, and dynamic technologies.Strong proficiency in scripting languages such as Python is requiredExperience with threat intelligence platforms and frameworks (e.g., MITRE ATT&CK, YARA).Experience in working for AV operations and SOC environments is a plus
