**Summary** As a **Security Police Officer** you will provide first response to emergencies, enforces federal law and assimilated state law, and conducts mobile patrols. **Responsibilities** + Provide access control, traffic control and conduct walking and motorized armed security functions. + Conduct personnel, vehicular, building, & facility checks and package & parcel inspections. + Must be able to work flexible hours to include weekends and holidays if needed. + Other duties as assigned **Qualifications** + Minimum High School Diploma or GED. + Must be at least 21 years of age. + Two years of service in the United States Armed Services (including Reserve or National Guard), or + Any combination of two years of experience in physical security (as a security officer - armed or unarmed) and service with the United States Armed Services (including Reserves or National Guard), or + Must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license. _Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:_ + Skill in operating a personal computer and standard office equipment. + Must have proficiency in a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, (MSWord, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), and Outlook. + Approaches others in a tactful manner; Reacts well under pressure; Treats others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position; Accepts responsibility for own actions; Follows through on commitments.
