At the Boyers Underground Facility, we are seeking a Security Operator to join our North American Security Operations Center team. In this role, you will be responsible for safeguarding and protecting the Company’s people, property, and processes, and contribute towards doing so with first-class customer service. In addition, candidates will need to understand security alarm monitoring principles, dispatching and coordinating resource allocation, engaging with stakeholders, and critical incident response management.

Pay: Starting at $20.00/hr, Paid Bi-Weekly via Direct Deposit
Schedule: 40 Hours Weekly Scheduling

Responsibilities
Continuously monitor various security systems such as CCTV, access control, alarms, and open-source intelligence platforms for potential threats and incidents.
Respond to alarms, security breaches, and other incidents by following established protocols, dispatching security personnel or emergency services as needed, and documenting all actions.
Analyze security threats and vulnerabilities, assess their potential impact, and provide recommendations for mitigation.
Communicate effectively with internal teams, external agencies (e.g., law enforcement, emergency services), and other stakeholders during incidents and routine operations.
Accurately document all security-related incidents, investigations, and other relevant information in a clear and concise manner.
Keep abreast of current security threats, trends, and best practices to ensure the safety and security of the organization.
Ensure all security systems and equipment are functioning properly and report any issues or malfunctions.
Escalate significant security incidents to appropriate personnel, such as shift supplement, or a combination of the two.
Follow all established security protocols, policies, and procedures
Requirements
Minimum Education: Associate degree (2 yrs.) in Criminal Justice, Business Administration, or other relevant field preferred; or, equivalent experience.
Minimum Experience: 2 years of experience in the private security sector, law enforce
Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure.
Proficiency in using security technology, systems, and software applications: ProWatch, Milestone, Avigilon, Crisis24, Intrusion Detection, or other Access Control and CCTV security applications.
Skills - Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team; excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
Familiarity with emergency management and incident response procedures.
Adherence to Policies and Procedures - Follow all established security protocols, policies, and procedures
