Security Operations Leader We are looking to hire a dynamic Security Operations Leader to join our People Safety and Security Services team in India. As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for Aon by providing complete security solutions to protect Aon’s people, property & information as part of our People Safety and Security Services Team within Aon Service Corporation. The team is looking for an experienced professional with deep security operations experience. Your impact as a Security Operations Leader Our group helps protect Aon’s people, property and information through a robust corporate security programme. Collaborating with the Regional Security Manager, the Security Operations Leader will work with internal groups and office leadership in India to protect our colleagues through managing and supporting the site security leads at the core Aon offices, supervising all external and internal audits, guide and support the implementation of a security awareness strategy to be delivered to across all India locations, managing our security vendors, and support rolling out security measures and mitigations that combine physical and technical products to enhance the safety of our offices. You will help us continually identify, evaluate and supervise enterprise risks that could threaten colleague safety and impact business activities in India and provide multi-functional expertise to Aon’s India leadership to allow them to make critical decisions. What the day will look like Manage the site security leads (four) across Mumbai, NCR, and Bengaluru to ensure that they have the support and resources they need to deliver the expected service delivery and colleague experience. Oversee our security provider(s) in India and work with the site leads and account manager(s) to ensure that vendor delivers as per our SLA and important metrics through continued monitoring of services. Overall accountability for the wider People Safety and Security organization financial RUN and INVEST operating budgets, ensuring forecast aligns to actual spend. Be an active participant in the India leadership teams and engage collaborators across the organisation to advocate on behalf of the People Safety and Security team and provide insights, guidance, and support in response to evolving enterprise risks and developments. Guide and support the planning and implementation of CPS India’s security and safety awareness training programme pan-India, providing support to the site security leads in delivering core awareness sessions. Assume the role of India People Safety and Security Services Incident leader, in partnership with other PSSS functional leaders and SRT members. Coordinate the planning and delivery of PSSS wide table-top crisis management exercises to continually test the business and SRT preparedness to manage an incident. Oversee and be accountable for all external and internal audits, including quarterly CPS ones, both virtually and in-person, ensuring that no risks or lapses are identified. Advocate on behalf of CPS and handle relationships with other support functions pan-India to ensure streamlined procedures and solve any emerging or recurring issues. Review physical security standard operating procedures regularly to ensure compliance across all Indian locations, as needed. Help oversee the administration of the CPS local security system(s), ensuring compliance with CPS SOP’s and standards. Oversee effective delivery of security solutions to new onboarding Aon locations, including risk assessment(s), security awareness and policy adoption. Oversee all pan-India Merger, Acquisition and Divestiture activities from a physical security perspective, and coordinate CPS efforts to onboard/offload colleagues and offices accordingly Provide support (as required) to any location specific investigation. Work with Regional Security Manager, the business and office administration teams in providing a response to reported incidents at our offices. Support the Regional Security Manager in managing and administering the APAC Physical Security office tracker in SharePoint. Provide support or lead pan-India PSSS investigations as directed by the Global Head of Investigations. Lead efforts in maturing the India security champions programme, providing frequent refresher training where necessary. Liaise with event team, executive assistants, and other collaborators to provide on-the-ground support for major Aon hosted events or executive movements as needed. Develop and maintain relationships with emergency services, including the police and other local authorities, ideally in the main Aon hubs. Provide support to develop and mature location security metrics, in line with global CPS guidelines for APAC. Supervise the compilation of pan-India CPS metrics and lead the creation and population of quarterly CPS dashboards on behalf of the Regional Security Manager to demonstrate the value/output of the CPS function in this sub-region. Help drive/lead any other risk mitigation initiatives. Skills and experience that will lead to success Demonstrated ability with physical security operations in a private sector/public sector environment. Experience in vendor management will be beneficial. + Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively through all levels of the organization both in person and through the use of technology (virtual). + Fluent written and oral communication of English is essential. + Excellent project management skills and experience and the ability to coordinate and manage multiple projects simultaneously. + Proficiency and comfort in delivering risk assessments for sites. + Knowledge in access control and CCTV systems is beneficial, particularly Lenel and Avigilon. + Other duties as assigned.
