Responsibilities
+ Monitor, triage, and investigate security threats across systems and networks.
+ Continuously improve cybersecurity detection and response operations.
+ Contribute to the development of Security Operations knowledge base materials, including playbooks and runbooks.
+ Track and report on Security Operations KPIs.
+ Participate in an on-call rotation for incident response and escalations.
Essential Skills
+ Proven experience in a Security Operations program.
+ Strong knowledge of AWS and Cloud Security.
+ Experience triaging and investigating cybersecurity alerts.
+ Familiarity with SIEM, EDR, and log analysis.
+ Proficiency in Python programming.
+ Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with SIEM correlation rule tuning and lifecycle management.
+ Ability to conduct training and mentoring for Security Operations and Incident Response.
+ Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code.
+ Metrics and data analytics experience.
+ Experience aligning Security Operations with industry standards such as NIST, SOC2, and ISO.
Work Environment
This position offers the flexibility of working 100% remotely, although preference is given to candidates who can sit in our Pittsburgh office. Join a team dedicated to building, testing, and maintaining threat detection controls for both the enterprise and the Aurora Driver. The work environment is dynamic and supportive, providing opportunities for growth and learning in a mature Security Operations program.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
