These temporary/as-needed roles support the safety and security of juvenile justice facilities by helping maintain order, prevent incidents, and promote a safe environment for youth, staff, and visitors. Minimum Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: A valid Louisiana Driver's License Preferred Qualifications: High School Diploma Job Specification Supervision Received : Close from a Juvenile Justice Specialist 4 or higher level position. Job Duties and Other Information Job Duties: + Monitor entrances, exits, and facility grounds to ensure security and prevent unauthorized access + Conduct routine patrols and report any safety concerns or suspicious activity + Assist in emergency situations, including evacuations or incident response + Enforce facility rules and support staff in maintaining order + Complete logs, incident reports, and other documentation as required + Provide courteous assistance to visitors, staff, and youth while maintaining professional boundaries Position-Specific Details: Work Location: This vacancy is located at Acadiana Center for Youth in Bunkie, Louisiana.
